Tai Chi Push Hands is a developmental skill where two people press their hands together and gently spar with one another to try and unbalance their partner.  The aim of push hands to teach the student how sense another person's energy.  To find balance, absorb and redirect energy, and add power and speed to their tai chi forms.

Push hands is the intermediate step into Tai Chi as a self-defense skill.
