When most people think about Tai Chi they visualize a group of people in a park moving slowly, gracefully, and in unison.  This is only one form of Tai Chi.  Tai Chi can trace its roots back over 2,000 years.  During this time Tai Chi has manifested itself into a wide variety of mind, body, and spirit activities.  Some of these activities are soft and flowing while others are fast and powerful.

 

We teach Tai Chi using the hand, fan, sword, and walking staff.  No matter the Tai Chi form the elements of Tai Chi remain the same, mind and body connect as one, the movements are flowing and relaxed.  The key is inner harmony and letting go of forcing the body to respond.
